Lessons to do as a family with 7th-12th graders:
-
Each evening class teacher has either taken their own route in teaching their class and spent numerous amounts of time planning lessons each week or they are following a book. Because each class is doing something a little different, and to avoid having parents go through numerous different lessons. Here are 2 options you can do with your students in grades 7-12.
-
During this interesting time of not having RE classes, we are encouraging families (parents with their older students) to spend 1-2 hours on Wednesday nights (or another designated night of the week) learning about our Catholic Faith with your child.
-
You can pick from the studies below which one you would like to do with your students. Both studies are related to the Mass.
-
Thanks to Ascension Press’s generosity, the videos and books are available online FOR FREE!
-
click on this link below, choose which one you would like to do and start from the beginning (some students may be familiar with Altarations, but reviews are always helpful!)
-
It will be helpful to have a computer or tv to watch the videos on and then an iPad, smart phone or separate computer to view the workbooks on. You will not have to print anything out, rather, I encourage you to discuss the questions as a family
